Homemade pizza

Flour / Yeast / Salt / Water / Tomato sauce / Onion / Mozzarella / Olive oil



Recipe for 2 pizzas:

  • 200 ml water and ice
  • 10 gr salt
  • 1 gr dry yeast
  • 340 gr 00 flour
  • 300 gr tomato sauce
  • 1 onion
  1. Prepare the dough by mixing the flour, yeast, water and salt
  2. Keep kneading the dough until its surface is smooth, slightly wet but not sticky on the hands
  3. Let rise the dough to grow for 2 hours
  4. Once ready, split the dough in two smaller pieces, cover them and let rise in the fridge for 24 hours
  5. Remove from the fridge 2 hours before cooking the pizza
  6. Prepare the sauce with stir fried onion, tomato sauce and salt
  7. Preheat the oven at 230° C
  8. When you are ready to start, spread out the dough with your hands and try to leave the border a bit thicker than the center
  9. Spread the tomato sauce on the dough
  10. Add some olive oil
  11. Put the pizza in the oven for 9 minutes
  12. Remove the pizza from the oven, add the slices of mozzarella on top
  13. Put back in the oven for 2/3 minutes
